Job summary

Bond Brothers Kitchen & Bar is seeking a skilled line cook to join our team at the RDU Airport area. You will prepare and cook menu items, use kitchen equipment safely, and ensure dishes are produced with quality and timeliness.

We value strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment. This role requires standing for long periods and availability on mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods and equipment.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Use knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including storage areas and utensils.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
