Job summary

Grove Bay Crawford is seeking a skilled and experienced line cook to join our team located at RDU Airport.

As a line cook, you will prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, maintain safety and cleanliness, and communicate with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth service. Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
• Use knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
• Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management
