Job summary

City of Cleveland is seeking an Airport Systems & Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to lead the administration and engineering of the airport's Microsoft Windows environment, virtualization, and integrated IT systems. You will ensure high availability, security, and compliance for critical airport operations technologies such as AODB and baggage/IoT.

The role requires strong MS tech skills, experience with airport-specific systems, and hands-on leadership to mentor staff and drive automation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in information processing with systems analysis.
Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy; experience with Windows Server, virtualization, and scripting.
Excellent written and verbal communication; TSA background checks and security standards understood.

Responsibilities

Administer Windows servers, endpoints, and virtualization platforms to support airport ops.
Design, implement, and maintain IT systems with AODB, CUPPS/CUTE, CCTV and baggage IoT integrations.
Lead automation efforts, provide Tier 2/3 support, and mentor junior staff.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Maintain documentation and ensure security, compliance, and performance tuning.
