Job summary

City of Cleveland seeks an Airport Project Coordinator – Oversight & Services to plan and administer projects for the Cleveland Airport System. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in program administration, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to obtain TSA screenings and a valid Ohio driver’s license. On-site work with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or closely related field preferred.
• Two years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience in program administration required.
• Must be able to lift and carry thirty pounds.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.
• Must successfully complete TSA fingerprint-based CHRC and background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Availability for on-call support and occasional after-hours work for critical system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates DBE/ACDBE program administration and oversight, including compliance and reporting.
• Coordinates Title VI program review, investigations, and reporting.
• Coordinates ADA program compliance and investigations.
• Monitors Davis Bacon and Prevailing Wage programs; conducts field audits and maintains payroll docs.
• Assists in Airport Improvement Program documentation and compliance.
• Develops relationships with federal, state, and local agencies and stakeholders.
• Assists small business owners with program processes and required documentation.
• Validates documentation alignment with program regulations.
• Conducts site visits and interviews with owners, managers, and staff.
• Coordinates recruiting of firms in underutilized NAICS codes for contracting opportunities.
• Educates DBE firms on certification rights and responsibilities.
• Educates partners on doing business with the Cleveland Airport System.
• Maintains certification files and records.
• Promotes occupational health and safety policies.
• Performs other related duties as required.
