Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support is seeking a Customer Service Agent to be the first impression of a passenger’s airport experience. You will check in passengers, assist with ticketing, guide passengers to aircraft, and help resolve complaints in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with a computer is required, and a friendly, professional demeanor is essential. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 70 pounds as needed to support operations

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Good communication skills and friendly personality.
• Entry-level computer skills.
• Occasionally lift 50–70 pounds.
• Pass post-offer background and fingerprint checks.
• Must work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly over phone and in person.
• Announce incoming and outbound flights.
• Handle transactions with accuracy and close out procedures.
• Process checked baggage up to 100 lbs.
• Operate jetways and secure aircraft doors as needed.
• Use airline systems for flight information and boarding docs.
• Stand in one location for periods up to four hours.
• Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers when required.
• Work independently without direct supervision.
