Job summary

Avolta operates HMSHost locations in the Minneapolis area seeking a Manager I to support restaurant operations at the airport location. This role ensures the venue is clean, staffed, and running to high standards, following company policies.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, participating in hiring, scheduling, and maintaining safety and cash controls. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within a defined group of restaurants or points-of-sale.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions; support scheduling and staffing.
• Assign tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure shifts are covered.
• Ensure mandated rest breaks and meal periods are observed.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas.
• Operate cash register and manage cash per policies; ensure security of cash.
• Monitor wellness and safety procedures and report safety concerns to the GM.
• Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices.
• Maintain current contact information for all restaurant associates.
