Job summary

Bags, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Curbside Concierge - Airline Check-in Agent to support travelers at a busy airport curbside near Richmond, VA. You will handle luggage, issue boarding passes, and provide flight information with a focus on friendly service and efficiency.

Responsibilities include processing check-ins, tagging bags, collecting payments, and guiding guests through the process while maintaining TSA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred.
• Data entry and/or computer experience preferred.
• Ability to work in the early morning rotation.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment background screening.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Testing process.
• Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly at the curbside desk.
• Assist guests with check-in and luggage, verify flight itinerary and bag count.
• Input guest information for those not enrolled in the process.
• Process bag check-in and collect payments for bags as required.
• Weigh and tag luggage; issue boarding passes and receipts.
• Provide directions and flight information; maintain high level of customer service.
• Maintain the concierge desk and organize/stock it.
• Manage payments received from guests and answer questions.
• Receive phones and inquiries.
