Job summary

Bags, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Curbside Concierge - Airline Check-in Agent to assist guests at a busy airport curbside. You will check luggage, issue boarding passes, and provide flight information while delivering excellent customer service in all interactions.

Shifts are early morning and involve outdoor work; weekend/holiday availability is required. Training provided; prior guest service experience preferred and compliance with airline procedures is needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in the early morning rotation.
• At least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position.
• Data Entry and/or computer experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions required.
• Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Work outside on the curb assisting guests with luggage and check-in.
• Provide boarding passes and tag bags for airline passengers.
• Provide information to passengers about locations, directions and flight details.
• Maintain a high level of customer service to passengers of Bags, Inc. and its clients.
• Manage payments (credit card) from guests during check-in process.
• Answer telephones and guest questions; input guest information as needed.
• Input guest information for those not previously enrolled in the process.
