Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Cook CD – Standard to prepare cooked foods across multiple kitchen stations, including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs. You will communicate ticket times and potential issues to the manager on duty to ensure top-quality service to customers.

This non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager or General Manager, and requires knowledge of HACCP, safe food handling, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and product directions for cooking and food prep.
• Prepare, cook, and plate items across stations (Fry, Flat Top, Pantry, eggs).
• Maintain food safety and sanitation per HACCP standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment and manage stock, dates and temperature checks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
