Dufry Careers at John Glenn Columbus Intl Airport is hiring for The Cook CD – Standard. You will prepare cooked foods across multiple stations and communicate with management and servers to ensure timely, high‑quality service.

This non‑exempt role reports to store leadership and requires adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include following recipes, managing production, maintaining cleanliness, and performing other duties as assigned to support busy airport dining

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience, ideally in high-volume/fast casual settings.
• Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry items.
• Ability to read, speak and comprehend English and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and perform normal job functions.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and product directions to prepare, season, cook, taste, carve and serve items.
• Estimate food requirements and check production, requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
• Follow HACCP and food safety standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients.
• Stock, date, rotate and check temperatures of products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
