Job summary

Avolta at Boston Airport F&B is hiring a bartender to greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and serve beverages with precision and a strong customer-service focus.

We require at least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume setting, knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and the ability to handle cash and operate a POS system. This is a non-exempt, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must meet state age for serving alcohol.
• At least 1 year bartending experience in high-volume or fast casual dining preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and related recipes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take drink/food orders; up-sell when possible.
• Mix beverages following recipes and product directions.
• Process payments and operate POS; secure money at end of shift.
• Adhere to alcohol safety policies and handle intoxicated guests appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and well-stocked bar.
• Follow HMSHost safety and sanitation policies.
