Job summary

First Meridian Services, Inc. is seeking a professional Bartender to craft a wide variety of beverages in a climate-controlled airport environment. You will greet guests, prepare drinks to recipes, verify age, maintain a clean bar, and handle transactions while ensuring guest safety and excellent service.

Required are a high school diploma and 1+ year of bartending experience; formal training is a plus. A structured benefits package plus growth opportunities are offered, with a focus on teamwork

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant.
• Formal bartending training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest specifications.
• Check the identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and bar tools.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including opening and closing tabs.
• Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption to ensure guest safety.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and specials to answer guest questions and provide recommendations.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a courteous and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and inform management of any shortages or needed supplies.
