Job summary

First Meridian Services, Inc. is seeking a bartender to craft and serve cocktails, beer, and wine in a high-volume airport setting. You’ll deliver excellent guest service, maintain a clean bar, and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for guests.

Requirements include 1+ year bartender experience in a full-service restaurant and the ability to work 5 AM to 10:30 PM shifts, including weekends. Competitive benefits and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 1+ years of experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant.
• Formal bartending training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest specifications.
• Check the identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and bar tools.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including opening and closing tabs.
• Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption to ensure guest safety.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and specials to answer guest questions and provide recommendations.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a courteous and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and inform management of any shortages or needed supplies.
