Job summary

American Airlines in Miami Beach, FL seeks an Inflight Operations Coordinator to support Flight Attendants and improve on-time departures through cross-department collaboration.

You will liaise with IOC, Control Center, Crew Scheduling and Daily Ops, oversee base reliability, respond to events, and coordinate with scheduling for re-crewing. This role requires on-site work, shifting schedules, and strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Experience with Sabre, DECS and RES.
• Ability to work shift work including weekends/holidays.
• On-site work at assigned base/location.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with local and system departments.
• Oversee base operational reliability and accountability.
• Handle operational events and assist crew or mitigate delays.
• Coordinate with Daily Operations/IOC for injuries and emergencies.
• Notify rescheduled Flight Attendants traveling through base.
• Provide status updates to Inflight, IOC, and Hub Control Center leadership.
