Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking a System Operations Controller to decipher, facilitate, and document customer flight scheduling within a 72-hour window. You will ensure accurate ground handling, on-time performance, and professional customer service for a large fleet.

The role requires a BS/BA in aviation or equivalent experience, strong multitasking and communication skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in aviation or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Prior airline operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decipher, facilitate and document customer scheduling within a 72-hour window.
• Maintain AIMS database and build flight schedules.
• Process operational requests including schedule changes and courier listings.
• Set up ground support for charter flights, AMC missions and diversions.
• Serve as main POC for 72-hour operations for customers and teams.
• Communicate changes to stations, vendors and departments.
• Review reports and update the operating system accordingly.
• Monitor flight activity and code delays as needed.
• Assist customers with operational issues and offline flying.
• Coordinate movement information for shipments with customers.
• Act as liaison between System Control and GCC staff.
• Handle high volumes of calls, SITA traffic and emails.
• Ensure customs/immigration/agriculture alignment for charters entering the US.
• Support recovery planning for aircraft disruptions.
