Job summary

Qualifications

• Typing or laptop keyboard proficiency at a speed that meets workload demands.
• Ability to review files, follow instructions, research ticketing rules, and understand policies
• Strong teamwork skills, good communication with the public, and the ability to work under pressure
• Completion of customer-service agent training with 80% or greater average and assessment duration
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to respond as needed
• Work under tight time constraints to achieve quick turnaround times
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards
• Perform all job functions within a confined area
• Effective verbal communication on phone, in person, and via radio
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to read documents and issue commands verbally or via radio

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, customer‑service interactions and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
• Support ticketing, check‑in, boarding, baggage, and reservation processes using a computerized point‑of‑sale system
• Handle cash, checks, credit cards, vouchers, and coupons, compute totals, make changes, and reconcile daily transactions
• Answer phone calls and web inquiries, resolve complaints, and offer assistance as requested
• Respond to mishandled situations such as oversells, canceled flights, or damaged bags using company procedures
• Provide accurate fare, schedule, reservation, and flight information to passengers and visitors at the terminal
• Complete required paperwork, reviews, and incident reports in accordance with company policy
• Perform additional duties as directed by management
