Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Airframe Design for Survivability NG Fellow 1 to lead advanced survivability work onsite across multiple locations, including Melbourne, FL. The role requires delivering technical leadership, architecture, and program guidance for complex survivability challenges.

The candidate will drive design, modeling, and evaluation activities, mentor engineers, and engage with stakeholders to ensure producibility and mission effectiveness in survivability technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Master’s/PhD in a STEM field with significant experience.
• Active DoD security clearance experience desired.
• Experience with survivability systems and aircraft design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and advisor on survivability programs.
• Develop and mentor engineers in the Survivability discipline.
• Engage in independent review teams and lead as required.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve survivability processes.
• Provide strategic technical guidance to management and program leadership.
• Engage with partners to support future business opportunities.
