Job summary

The role requires a strong background in electromagnetics and RCS/LO technologies, with experience in CAD tools and programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12 years of related engineering experience (or Master’s with 10 years; PhD with 8 years).
• Applied electromagnetics and/or aircraft survivability; or comprehensive understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission through space and within materials.
• Experience in CAD software such as CATIA, Unigraphics, or NX.
• Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (must be in‑scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Develops and integrates advanced technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic spectrum.
• Develops and implements predictive analysis codes; builds and tests physical models; designs, develops, and builds test and verification equipment; and develops, tests, and integrates specialty materials.
• Works closely with engineers of other disciplines to optimize the integration of this technology on existing and future aircraft.
