Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Propulsion for Survivability NG Fellow 1 to lead advanced survivability propulsion work. The role is onsite in Redondo Beach, CA; Melbourne, FL; San Diego, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; or Palmdale, CA with a 9/80 schedule and periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Master’s, and/or PhD in a relevant STEM degree; 20 years with a BS or 18 years with an MS/PhD

Responsibilities

• Lead technical efforts across legacy and new Survivability programs
• Develop and mentor engineers in Survivability propulsion design
• Advise management on technical research and long-range planning
• Engage with government customers and internal stakeholders
• Support and lead design reviews and independent review teams
• Collaborate across sectors to integrate capabilities and technologies
• Participate in program management and roadmap development
