Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Propulsion for Survivability NG Fellow 1 to lead complex Survivability programs. Onsite roles span Redondo Beach, Melbourne, San Diego, Clearfield, Palmdale and more, with a 9/80 schedule. Requires active U.S.
Secret clearance and proven leadership in design, integration and training for LO platforms. The role emphasizes vision setting, cross-team mentorship, and technical advisory across programs, including IRAD/CRAD projects, technology integration
Qualifications
- Bachelors, Master’s, and/or PhD in a relevant STEM degree with extensive industry experience; 20 years with a BS or 18 with an MS/PhD
- Must have extensive Survivability inspection/repair techniques and production transfer experience
- Experience with aircraft survivability concepts, production and test environments
Responsibilities
- Lead technical teams in Survivability manufacturing and technology integration
- Develop and maintain Survivability Production vision and technology roadmap
- Mentor engineers and develop training materials
- Advise management on technical research and long-range plans
- Engage with DoD Survivability community for partnerships and opportunities
