Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Propulsion for Survivability - NG Fellow 1 to join the Survivability Organization onsite in Redondo Beach, CA, Melbourne, FL, San Diego, CA, Clearfield, UT, Oklahoma City, OK or Palmdale, CA. This leadership role focuses on survivability manufacturing, technology integration, training and inspections of LO platforms.

The ideal candidate will lead complex programs, mentor engineers, advance new technologies, and coordinate with DoD partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or PhD in a relevant STEM field with extensive survivability experience.
• Significant experience with survivability inspection and repair techniques for LO platforms.
• Deep knowledge of aircraft survivability design and performance from test to sustainment.
• Experience innovating technologies to improve aircraft survivability and program efficiency.
• Experience with suppliers to ensure producibility and scalability.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance (or higher) required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead survivability production vision and technology integration roadmap.
• Support IRAD/CRAD projects and sector initiatives in leadership roles.
• Mentor engineers and develop training materials.
• Advise management on research, applications and long-range plans.
• Collaborate with DoD and partnerships for future opportunities.
