Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring for an Assembly position focused on aircraft seating components. You will assemble, install, and adjust sub-assemblies and seating parts based on detailed instructions and blueprints. The role emphasizes precision, quality, and adherence to procedures.

The position is onsite in Winston-Salem with a required 2nd shift after an initial 1st shift training period (3–4 weeks, Mon-Fri 6:00 am–2:30 pm). FAA safety awareness and DOT drug testing apply.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; if not, 2 years relevant experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies using rivet guns, drills, and hand tools to matching blueprints and work orders.
• Install and adjust aircraft seating components and related parts per drawings and instructions.
• Interpret trim and finish drawings, work orders, and job cards to assemble parts accurately.
• Set up fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment to meet precise specifications.
• Perform final adjustments and quality checks to ensure functional operation.
