Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC is seeking an entry-level assembler to join our onsite manufacturing team. You will learn to set up and assemble parts, read procedures, and contribute to delivering quality products on time.

The role is Monday–Friday, first shift with potential overtime. We offer medical/dental/vision, a strong 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and extensive training opportunities to grow within the aerospace field.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) with 1 year of relevant experience.
• ERP experience desired; SAP experience preferred; PIV experience preferred.
• Current training in shipping regulations and related packaging/shipping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools.
• Read and follow procedures, routing, and work instructions.
• Maintain quality standards with no defects.
• Meet customer deadlines and expectations.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
