Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking an onsite Aircraft Seating Assembler to join our team. You will assemble sub-assemblies and seat components from detailed instructions and drawings, using rivet guns and hand tools with precision.

You will read blueprints, follow work orders, and perform fixture setups while maintaining quality and safety standards. An HS diploma or equivalent experience is required, and lifting up to 25 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or 2 years relevant experience required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings.
• Proficient with a range of hand and power tools used in aircraft seating assembly.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and components with bonding and riveting.
• Install and adjust aircraft seat components per drawings and work orders.
• Set up fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment to meet exact specs.
• Perform final checks and make adjustments to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for traceability.
