Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Manager II to join our Mobile, AL team. The role focuses on folio management during assembly, analyzing issues, and driving actions to closure. The candidate will mentor subordinates and support flowline and flightline operations to meet production milestones.

The position requires 5+ years in aviation, 2+ years in a leadership role, and strong English communication, with knowledge of SAP and MS Office, and an international-team mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
• In lieu of degree, training as a technician in a technical field related to aviation manufacturing accepted.
• 5+ years of aviation-related experience requested.
• 2+ years in Aircraft Manager or leadership role preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, supply chain and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee folio management for assigned aircraft during production and flight test until handover.
• Analyze and steer all new issues during assembly (non-conformities, customer findings, flightline issues).
• Identify critical points, initiate action plans, and ensure closure of issues with follow-ups.
• Mentor and develop Aircraft Manager staff under HO ACM leadership.
• Support ACM functions (Flowline, Flightline, Cross Plant) as needed.
• Prepare MSN status reports and monitor aircraft progress against milestones.
