Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Operations Leader 2nd Shift for Completion at the Mobile, AL facility. You will manage and develop a production team to meet time, quality, cost and safety requirements, driving continuous improvement and effective communication across interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation/manufacturing environments.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in aviation.
• Experience with Quality/Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and work in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to production activities and supervise progress.
• Lead the Autonomous Production team (APT) and ensure safety compliance.
• Report progress to upper management and coordinate with other stations.
• Ensure material availability and timely completion of work packages.
• Collaborate with Quality, Procurement and other functions to improve processes.
• Develop workforce forecasts and proactive problem solving.
