Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD design and drafting across mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with ANSI Y14.5 and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of design-for-manufacturing and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports design and analysis of aircraft mechanical system modifications.
• Reviews subsystem specifications and applies design requirements.
• Selects materials and components per specifications.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure manufacturability.
• Develops BOMs and fabrication specifications.
• Ensures designs meet FAA requirements and project schedules.
• Communicates status and issues to project team.
