Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience required.
• U.S. Person status for ITAR programs.

Responsibilities

• Designs complex modifications of mechanical systems installations.
• Designs system schematics and architecture to meet requirements and function of system.
• Analyzes and interprets subsystem and project specifications.
• Selects materials for mechanical designs based on structural needs and materials specifications.
• Applies experience to optimize designs for reduced parts, costs, and errors.
• Ensures designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements.
• Provides design guidance and mentorship to other engineering personnel.
• Maintains knowledge of mechanical design practices and tools.
