Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. seeks a skilled aerospace mechanical design engineer to create and modify aircraft systems such as air conditioning, ventilation, onboard water, waste systems, oxygen, and safety components.

You will use CAD tools (Inventor, AutoCAD) to ensure fit, form, and function meet customer requirements and FAA standards while aligning with project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years relevant experience in aerospace mechanical design preferred.
• Experience with FAA regulations and aircraft interior systems beneficial.
• Strong CAD skills (3D Inventor, 2D AutoCAD) and knowledge of drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs and analyzes basic modifications of mechanical systems installations.
• Interprets subsystem and project specifications.
• Selects materials based on structural needs and specifications.
• Optimizes designs to reduce parts, cost, and assembly errors.
• Ensures designs meet customer criteria, quality standards, and FAA requirements.
• Adheres to budgets and schedules.
• Provides design guidance to other engineers.
