Amentum is seeking a CBP Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspection, and servicing on assigned aircraft within a regulated maintenance environment. The role follows 14 CFR and DoD instructions and requires hands-on repair, troubleshooting, and periodic in-flight checks when needed.

Applicants must hold an FAA A&P certificate, high school diploma, and be willing to undergo background checks and random drug testing. US citizenship is required for clearance.

Formación

• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• Must be willing to submit to random drug tests.
• Must obtain CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance (US citizenship required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft per 14 CFR, DoD data and manuals.
• Perform daily and turnaround inspections on all assigned aircraft.
• Perform inspections, corrosion control, troubleshooting and fault isolation on aircraft systems.
• May fly on government aircraft for relocation or in-flight checks and for troubleshooting not possible on ground.
• Possibly travel to temporary duty sites within and outside the United States.
