Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to maintain and repair aircraft structures and systems on a CBP assignment. You will perform daily maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and logbook entries as needed while prioritizing workload and deadlines.

Preferred candidates hold an FAA A&P license and have strong knowledge of airframes, engines, hydraulics, and fuel systems. This role is hourly, with additional health and welfare payments under SCA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a current FAA A&P license.
• Competent in repair and maintenance of airframes, hydraulics, fuel systems and engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, flight line and hangar maintenance on all assigned aircraft.
• Carry out inspections, corrosion control, troubleshooting and fault isolation on aircraft systems.
• May lead teams through more complex tasks and maintain logs/records.
