Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for large aircraft, including inspections, conversions, heavy repairs and avionics upgrade programs.

You will lead a team, recruit staff, and collaborate with Safety & Quality Assurance to maintain a high standard of safety and performance. The role requires strategic planning, resource allocation, and clear reporting to the VP Operations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years diversified maintenance on large aircraft with an Air Carrier, Commercial Operator or Certified Repair Station.
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in an Air Carrier and/or Repair Station environment.
  • Must hold an Airframe and Powerplant ratings certificate for at least 5 years.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor direct reports to deliver excellence and accountability.
  • Coordinate maintenance department activities to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Ensure safety compliance with FAA, OSHA and corporate procedures.
  • Plan resource allocation with Project Managers and Production Planning.
  • Provide frequent reporting to VP Operations on performance metrics and progress.
  • Train and develop subordinates in proper maintenance procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated.
