Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Structures & Backshops Manager to lead the maintenance department, including composite, sheet metal, interiors, and the Backshops.

You will supervise Leads, coordinate aircraft structural repairs and modifications, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with company policies and FAA/OSHA guidelines. The role requires at least 5 years of diversified large-aircraft maintenance experience and 3 years in a supervisory capacity, with an A&P certificate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or OJT required and valid A&P ratings for at least 5 years.
• At least 5 years diversified maintenance on large aircraft with an A Carrier, Commercial Operator or Repair Station.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in an Airline/Repair Station environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest quality service, safety standards and performance, delivering airworthy, reliable aircraft on time.
• Provide leadership to Leads and technicians for on-time delivery in compliance with FAA/OSHA regulations.
• Coach and mentor staff to ensure accountability and accurate documentation across teams.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in facilities and working order of Backshops and workshops.
• Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Communicate with the Director of Maintenance on issues and project progress.
• Review daily performance and adjust plans to meet schedules as needed.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Training to establish OJT programs and training participation.
• Develop efficient work schedules and coverage for all personnel per production plans.
• Lead by example with professional integrity and policy compliance.
