Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Miami, FL seeks a Chief Inspector responsible for the overall operation of the inspection department and reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance.

Direct, plan and lay out inspection standards and procedures, supervise all personnel in the department, and ensure proper inspection documentation and records are maintained. The role requires a current A&P license and extensive supervisory experience with FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and two years college or trade school.
• Minimum of ten years work experience performing inspection supervisory functions of general types of aircrafts that the repair station is rated for.
• Current A&P License and General Familiarization certificates for the various aircraft types the repair station is rated for.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan and lay out details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the repair station in complying with applicable FAA Regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Supervise, assist and direct all personnel assigned to the inspection department.
• Ascertain that all inspections are properly performed and documented by the repair station.
• Ensure the availability of pertinent FAA specifications and Airworthiness Directives for articles repaired or altered.
• Maintain the inspection records, reports and forms used by the repair station.
• Ensure any defective parts are identified, tagged and returned or discarded.
• Audit subcontractors responsible for calibration of equipment at least annually.
