Job summary

ADP, Inc. seeks a Lead Technician to oversee Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, directing work per task cards, MPD, and FAA regulations. The role ensures safe, high-quality, on-time aircraft re-delivery while mentoring staff.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a current Airframe Rating with at least 3 years of maintenance experience on large aircraft, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/technical degree not required but high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Current mechanic certificate with Airframe Rating held for at least 3 years.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Technicians to ensure safety, quality and timely aircraft re-delivery.
  • Direct and supervise A&P, Sheetmetal, Avionics, and Outside Services personnel.
  • Coach and mentor technicians to maintain high workmanship standards.
  • Ensure work aligns with MPD, Repair Station Manual and FAA regulations.
  • Coordinate staffing to match work scope with project timelines.
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in hangar and work areas.
  • Ensure proper documentation, tool readiness, and parts provisioning.
  • Communicate progress and road-blocks to Project Manager and department heads.
