Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Planning & Production Control Manager to oversee aircraft maintenance and overhaul production planning and control, managing man-hour budgets and a team of certified Aircraft Maintenance Planners and support staff.

Qualifications

• Strong communications skills.
• Airframe and Powerplant licenses, preferred.
• High School Degree/GED with 10 years related experience in planning and production in commercial aircraft MRO environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules and work statements identifying detailed facility requirements, manpower requirements, parts and material lists, tooling lists, third party services and specialized resources.
• Prepare production planning boards, communicating with internal production and support organizations to manage the plan efficiently and customer‑centric.
• Support operations with optimized production plans, job cards, drawings, manuals, standards and production management information systems; ensure documentation accompanies task cards for efficient execution.
• Monitor man hours and report threats to leads and management to avoid delays, overages and waste impacting profitability.
• Control paperwork and ensure full compliance with OEM MPDs and FAA/EASA procedures.
• Lead and mentor department personnel to deliver excellence and accountability; hire, discipline and terminate as required.
• Provide on-the-job and formal training for department staff.
• Drive continuous process improvements and ensure compliance with safety, legal and corporate procedures.
