Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Doral, Florida, is seeking an Air Import Gateway Agent to coordinate the movement of air import shipments. You will be the main contact between customers, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include confirming arrival times, data entry, and maintaining customer communications. A background in freight forwarding and strong MS Office skills are preferred; CargoWise experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role in Miami area.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in freight forwarding, air import preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customs brokers and carriers to move air imports.
• Input data, confirm arrivals, and dispatch deliveries.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email, fax, and mail to maintain service levels.
• Track purchase orders and ensure documentation for cargo release.
• Communicate with air carriers and customers to manage charges and billing.
