Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Dallas, TX is seeking an Air Import Agent to coordinate customers' air shipments and serve as the main liaison with customs brokers and carriers.

You will input data, track shipments, respond to inquiries, and ensure on-time deliveries while building strong customer relationships. Knowledge of MS Office and air freight systems is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with strong follow-up abilities.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Air freight industry experience preferred.
• Logis Air or CargoWise knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute orders by confirming arrival times, coordinating with customs brokerage, inputting data and dispatching deliveries.
• Build customer relationships via email, fax and mail.
• Work with air and ground transportation partners to handle shipments.
• Input and track purchase orders and ensure cargo release documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries per the Customer Service Policy.
