Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Senior Principal, Business Development and Head of Air Force Strategy to lead the company’s Air Force strategy and strategic partnerships. You will influence executive leadership, drive long-term engagement with DoD stakeholders, and guide growth across Air Force missions.

You will oversee enterprise‑level BD, capture, and cross‑functional collaboration to secure strategic programs and accelerate adoption of the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) within aerospace

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience within or supporting the U.S. Air Force with deep understanding of Air Force strategy and funding.
Proven success leading business development, partnerships, and growth in national security or defense.
Experience shaping long-term strategy and executive engagement with DoD entities.
Ability to influence executive decision making in the DoD ecosystem.
Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing and defense modernization programs.

Responsibilities

Own strategic Air Force and defense relationships with executive engagement strategies.
Develop and execute growth strategies across Air Force organizations.
Lead capture and negotiation of strategic partnerships and programs; support proposal strategy.
Provide cross-functional leadership across BD, Capture, Engineering, PM, and Finance.
