Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, AS/400.
• Knowledge of exporting processes and international commerce desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of air shipments and distribution of documents.
• General business support functions as assigned.
• Effectively communicate with customers, overseas agents and subcontractors.
• Plan and arrange carriers for each shipment.
• Prepare export shipments for assigned customers including labeling and distribution of cargo.
• Ensure shipments are processed according to compliance regulations.
• Filing and data entry using AS/400 system.
• Issue freight bills and invoices and collect unpaid invoices within credit terms.
• Support operations with Perishables handling and ECommerce.
• Support Accounting duties for Air operations.
• Own key accounts and ensure they are serviced with best practice.
