Job summary

Nippon Express USA in Dallas is seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Assistant to prepare air shipments, generate shipping documents, and coordinate with customers, overseas agents and subcontractors. The role includes carrier planning, export preparation, labeling, and data entry in the AS/400 system.

You will support operations with perishable handling and e-commerce tasks, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; strong communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; familiarity with Lotus Notes and AS/400 preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, overseas agents and subcontractors.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare air shipments and distribute documents.
• Provide general business support and assist customers, agents and subcontractors.
• Plan and arrange carriers for each shipment and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare export shipments, generate pick-up orders and shipping labels as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and complete data entry in AS/400.
