Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Air Export HUB Specialist to coordinate and manage air export shipments in a HUB/gateway environment.

You will consolidate shipments, optimize routing, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong communication with suppliers and customers to deliver exceptional service. The role requires experience in air export operations, familiarity with MAWB/AWB procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience handling freight forwarding shipments.
• Gateway/HUB operation experience is preferred.
• US Export Compliance knowledge is preferred.
• Geographical knowledge is preferred.
• Cargowise (C1) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and close MAWB for consolidations and back-to-back AWB’s.
• Ensure all necessary documents are in proper sequence.
• Book space with carriers and ensure MAWBs are rated correctly.
• Enter spot rates and codes in C1; obtain spot codes for negotiated rates.
• Track AWB and provide COB information to branches; communicate with overseas agents and clients.
• Research discrepancies and file maintenance; update carrier/vendor rates.
