Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced engineer for the Tucson, AZ area to lead multi-discipline hardware programs. The role requires strong leadership, deep systems engineering expertise, and hands-on experience with electrical subsystems and circuit card assembly.

You will drive ROI-driven improvement efforts, coordinate across program teams, and ensure integration of cost, schedule and technical requirements throughout the life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience with Electrical subsystems and/or Circuit Card Assembly: development, integration, test, and production support.
• Experience with analog, digital and/or mixed-signal circuit design/analysis or hardware integration/test.

Responsibilities

• Define improvement projects using RTX factory tools and assess ROI.
• Lead others by understanding team dynamics and leveraging strengths.
• Lead trade studies to choose best solution considering cost, schedule, quality, and performance.
• Regularly convey task status on complex issues across teams and leadership.
• Fill roles as needed to support business unit success.
• Partner with the program team to ensure cost, schedule and technical requirements are integrated and executed.
