RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager in Tucson, AZ, to lead a cross-functional team of REAs and engineers. The role focuses on optimizing factory throughput and product yield, coordinating with program and factory chiefs to ensure alignment with constraints and improvements.

You will partner with Value Stream Managers, SMEs, and PTEs to drive integrated program support, manage budgets, and guide project tracking weekly.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience in integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production/manufacturing environments.

Aufgaben

• Manage a cross functional team of 7-10 REAs including mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Analyze data related to factory throughput and yield and make improvement recommendations.
• Interface with program and factory chief engineers for alignment and changes.
• Partner with Value Stream Managers to ensure program support for throughput and yield.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PTEs, and Manufacturing Engineers to align efforts.
• Communicate with suppliers and travel to support critical reviews.
• Maintain budgets for IPT and report deviations weekly.
