Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior engineering leader for an on-site role in Tucson, supporting DoD programs that require active security clearance. You will drive improvement initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and perform trade studies to balance quality, cost, schedule, and performance.

The role demands a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of engineering leadership and experience in electrical subsystems, circuit design, and hardware integration/test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience with electrical subsystems and/or circuit card assembly development, integration, test, and production support.
• Experience with analog, digital and/or mixed-signal circuit design/analysis or hardware integration/test.

Responsibilities

• Define improvement projects using RTX factory tools and assess ROI.
• Lead teams by leveraging strengths and mitigating gaps.
• Lead trade studies to select best solution considering quality, cost, schedule and performance.
• Regularly communicate task status to leadership across teams and customers.
• Fill roles as needed to ensure business unit success.
• Partner with program teams to align cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
