Job summary

RTX Corporation in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a senior engineering leader to manage a cross-functional team of 7–10 Responsible Engineering Authorities and drive throughput and yield improvements across multiple factories, including Tucson RF/EI.

You will partner with VSMs, SMEs, PTEs and ME, oversee project tracking, budgets, and qualification activities, and ensure engineering alignment with program constraints while maintaining weekly reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in production environments.
• Experience in integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, and/or product qualification environments.
• EVMS certification, Program Management certification, or equivalent to Raytheon PM Level 6 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of 7–10 REAs (mechanical/electrical) and drive alignment.
• Analyze factory throughput and yield data to identify improvements.
• Coordinate with program and factory chief engineers for constraints and changes.
• Partner with VSMs and VSLs to ensure program support for production targets.
• Collaborate with SME, PTE, and ME to work with REA teams.
• Communicate with suppliers and travel for critical reviews.
• Maintain IPT budgets and report deviations weekly.
• Maintain project tracking and weekly REA reviews.
• Drive improvements across Andover and Tucson factories.
• Execute qualification activities and Scope Board Projects.
