Job summary

RTX, based in Tucson, AZ, seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive the development and integration of electrical subsystems for DoD programs.

You will guide cross-functional teams, manage trade studies, and ensure cost, schedule, and technical requirements are fully integrated with program leadership. Relocation eligibility and a 9/80 schedule are offered along with a competitive compensation range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM with at least 8 years of experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience with electrical subsystems and/or circuit card assembly development, integration, test, and production support.
• Experience with analog, digital and/or mixed-signal circuit design/analysis or hardware integration/test.

Responsibilities

• Define improvement projects using RTX factory tools and evaluate ROI.
• Lead others by leveraging team dynamics and strengths while addressing gaps.
• Lead trade studies to select best solutions considering quality, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Regularly convey task status on complex issues across teams and leadership.
• Fill roles as needed to support business unit success.
• Partner with the program team to ensure integrated cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
