RTX is seeking a senior engineering leader to manage a cross-functional team of Responsible Engineering Authorities at our Tucson facility. You will drive throughput and yield improvements, interfacing with chief engineers to ensure alignment with program constraints and changes.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 10 years of engineering experience with progressive leadership roles. Relocation is eligible and a 9/80 work schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience in integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities in production/manufacturing/product qualification environments.

Responsabilités

• Manage a cross functional team of 7-10 Responsible Engineering Authorities (REAs).
• Analyze data related to factory throughput and yield and make improvement recommendations.
• Interface with program and factory chief engineers to ensure alignment with constraints and changes.
• Partner with Value Stream Managers to ensure program support for throughput and yield.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PTEs, and Manufacturing Engineers to align activities.
• Communicate with suppliers and travel as needed for reviews.
• Maintain budgets and report deviations weekly to PM.
• Maintain project tracking and review REA progress weekly.
• Drive improvement projects across multiple factories to boost throughput/yield.
• Recognize REAs for project wins and excellence.
• Execute qualification efforts and Scope Board Projects.
