RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage a cross-functional team of REAs, driving throughput and yield improvements across multiple factories. You will interface with chief engineers and program teams to align on constraints and changes, while guiding qualification activities and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience in integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, and/or product qualification environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead a cross-functional team of 7–10 Responsible Engineering Authorities (REAs) including mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Analyze data related to factory throughput and yield and make improvement recommendations.
• Interface with program and factory chief engineers to ensure alignment with constraints, improvements, and routine changes.
• Partner with Value Stream Managers and Value Stream Leads to ensure program support for throughput and yield.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Product Test Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to keep REA teams in lockstep.
• Communicate with suppliers and travel as needed for critical constraints and reviews.
• Maintain material and labor budgets for the IPT and report deviations weekly to peers and the PM.
• Maintain a project tracking system and review progress with each REA at least weekly.
• Innovate to create improvements across multiple factories including Andover CCA and Tucson RF/EI.
• Recognize REAs for project wins and excellence.
• Execute qualification efforts.
• Manage and execute Scope Board Projects.
