RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to coordinate a cross-functional team of 7-10 Responsible Engineering Authorities, driving throughput and yield improvements while aligning engineering with program constraints.

You will partner with VSMs, SMEs, PTEs, and MEs to optimize production, manage budgets, track projects weekly, and drive qualification and scope-board initiatives.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years’ prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience in integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, and/or product qualification environments.

Responsabilités

• Manage a cross functional team of 7-10 Responsible Engineering Authorities (REAs) including mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Analyze data related to factory throughput and yield and make recommendations for improvement.
• Interface with program and factory chief engineers to ensure alignment with constraints, improvements, and routine changes.
• Partner with Value Stream Managers (VSM) and Value Stream Leads (VSL) to ensure factory has program support to maintain production throughput and yield.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PTEs, and Manufacturing Engineers to keep REA team aligned.
• Communicate with suppliers and travel when necessary to support critical constraints and reviews.
• Maintain material and labor budgets for the Integrated Product Team and report deviations weekly.
• Maintain a project tracking system, reviewing list weekly with each REA.
